AWS Well Architected Review
July 7th, 2022
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM PDT
Please Join LA Networks and AWS as we cover what the Well Architected Review is, why it is critical to your cloud strategy regardless of where you are in your journey and how to leverage LA Networks to ensure you are adhering to these key objectives.
We will then dive into a real world security example where we look at a design for edge security and third-party firewalls. Lastly, you will be given access to a lab environment to become familiar with some of the services which are covered in this Webinar.
You will learn best practices and design principles to leverage cloud efficiently, securely and less costly. We offer expert security and compliance, managed operations, and cost optimization.
There are five pillars to the AWS Well Architected Framework:
- Operational Excellence.
We will go over each of these pillars as well as talk through an example use-case which LA Networks has helped architect. We go through the presentation and use-case first, then spend about 30-minutes to get you strapped into your lab environment – then you can learn about these pillars for yourself.
Presentation will last 90 minutes and include about an hour of presentation (Intro, Well-Architected Review, Security Use Case) and another 30 minutes of lab.
What is an AWS well-architected review?
AWS offers customers Well-Architected Reviews that use Framework principles to provide an assessment and identify recommended remediation, typically for a high-priority workload.
The AWS Well-Architected Framework helps you understand the pros and cons of decisions you make while building systems on AWS. By using the Framework you will learn architectural best practices for designing and operating reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective systems in the cloud.
Is AWS well-architected framework free?
The tool then provides an action plan to help you build for the cloud using the defined best practices. The AWS Well-Architected Tool is available at no charge in the AWS Management Console.
